I HAVE A 1997 GTI VR6, I JUST BLEW THE MOTOR. I AM GOING CRAZY NOT BEING ABLE TO DRIVE MY BABY. DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHARE I CAN GET A REBUILT OR NEW 2.8L VR6, THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP

Hey whats up... I dont know if these are a help to you but there is a huge place you can try called Greenleaf auto recyclers in Brockton mass.There also is car-part.com which will search everywhere for waht you are looking for from closest to furthest good luck.

Hey check on car-part.com type in the info its easy i live in RI and it pulled up a ton of motors for your car take a look good luck.

Sorry to hear about your motor! I have been thingking of rebuilding my motor, since it has 102,000+ miles on it. Some of these places sell rebuilt/new motors, I have not done any business with any just passing on the links fyi! I hope they are helpful in your quest for a motor.

how much are u willing to spend???... i actually have a brand new stroked 3.2L, top and bottom end completely done up... with 2 year warranty... its good for 1100 whp supposedly... its in canada tho...
