issues with my a2

my a2 jetta is driving me up the wall with the steering. i had the alignment done, i replaced my struts, springs, bushings, sway bar, exc. and my steering has a mind of its own. and then i look at my car earlyer and my passanger front strut is gone. i just replaced it a month ago with oem. what is going on? is it because i take turns to fast for the oem struts and springs?
