Hey i have one on my jetta, you best bet is to do an extension or get a metal boser. The big problem with carbon fiber is cracking.... and in the "euro" world carbon fiber is cool but you throw on a set of hood pins and your audi looks like a civic. Go om www.vwvortex.com and you'll find a good deal or threads to find where to get one and also what brand to go with.

I have a B7 carbon fiber hood from Eurogear and the fitment and quality are top notch. Hood pins are to keep your hood secure at high speeds because these hoods are so damn light comparing to stock. You should use it on ALL carbon fiber hoods because they are so light, it doesn't matter which brand you have. I've seen accidents happen with the AWE - Fiber Image hood on Audiworld without hood pins so its better to be safe. Spider cracks? the only time your hood would spider crack from hood pins is if you or the installer don't know what they are doing.
