The GT 5 Turbo was built and manufactured by Renault. It was a turbocharged hot hatch; the car was in production from the year 1985 to the year 1991. The car was designed as a part of the Phase 2 of the Renault 5 in the year 1985. The production of the Phase 1 was done from the year 1985 to the year 1987 and the production of Phase 2 was done in from the year 1987 to the year 1991. The GT 5 Turbo model was categorised as the ‘Hot Hatch’. The body style of the car included a 3-door hatchback and a 2-door convertible (EBS Convertible, rare). The engine of the GT5 turbo is a 1397cc OHC 14 Turbocharged engine containing two valves per cylinder. The GT5 TURBO could reach 0-60MPH in 7.1 seconds. The car was blessed with insane acceleration but the only drawback was that the GT5 was very difficult to control.(http://www.blurtit.com/q217890.html)
