i have a mk4 golf with 40thousand on it,i put(22thousand on it in 5 mounths driving to work)looking at buying a car to drive back and forth to work,while i start the project ,i found a 95 jetta,(for 1500$)in decent shape,only  has 102000 on it,the owner says he keeps loosing coolant,but  dosent see any spots where he has parked ,looked at the oil,and found no sings of a coolant going into oil,any why to check other then that,or does any body know of any problems these jettas have   besides that  it has a valve cover leaking,and a small leak on the tranny,5 speed ,is this a fare price for the car??
