Can't vouch for the benz but I own a 2002 S4 and love it. Stock, it's 250hp/258lb/ft torque. I put an APR chip on it and power jumped to 318hp/382 all for $600! I can tell a HUGE difference. Also have their diverter valves, two because it's a 2.7L V6 with 2 turbos--one for each. Installed they were about $400 I think. Search for b5 s4 articles on here and there are a few that go into great detail about the car, "Wolf in Sheeps Clothing" and also the complete tuner guide which is broken down into price ranges. Also the audi is all wheel drive and handles amazingly. It came with a Neuspeed suspension and 18" TSW Thruxtons and I wrapped them with Yokahama YK520s. Went with them over the Nitto NeoGen cuz they had twice the life. I went to Quattro de Mayo this past weekend up in the NC mtns and they handled great in wet and dry! Hope this helps, let me know if you have anymore questions. Just remember, when the rear wheel drive breakes loose, the AWD holds the road a lot longer!
