i just bought a 2004 golf gti 1.8t ... i have owned and built eclipses and lancers but i wanted to go euro i love the look but its new to me can any one help me on finding what i need or where to begin..

These sites are great places, and I'm know I've not covered them all. I would suggest getting the March 2008 issue of Eurotuner as it is a Volkswagen Mk4 special issue. You can get some great ideas for your Mk4 there as well! Hope I've helped some.

I looked through those websites to check out parts as I want to get me some wheels for next spring. But, there are no listings for my model.. What to do ?
What other model has the same fit?
I have never owned a VW and I am a woman that knows almost nothing about my car...LOL.

Well it all depends on what your looking for...if your going for performance, I would suggest getting an ECU reflash through such companies as APR, Revo, or Unitronic...they give you big gains without sacrificing gas mileage. It will set you back about $500.00...And for style, I would get lowering springs and shocks, with some nice rims..(not that stock ones aren't cool) =)  

Post for TA2ME: Wait a minute...you're a Canadian too eh!? I have the same car.   I haven't made any mods on my car yet, so can't help ya that much, experience-wise speaking, but you can check out this websites www.neuspeed.com-for hardcore mods (exterior, interior, engine...etc.) and wheelsnext.com-for wheels and tires mods. If you're a Canadian, mind if I ask which part you live?

Sup, guys, sorry for the late reply, (ta2me & jetta) soooo busy in school. Yup, I see a lot of people here too in winnipeg going euro. My plan for my black golf is to put some red tint on it, back side of the windows only, as it's what's legal here, and put on some black rims with a red lip, I didn't wanna mod the engine just yet 'cause it's still smellin' brand new, Oh well, nice to hear from you guys. more soon I hope, let's just update each other with our progress.  Take care y'all.
