I was wonering if upgrading my spark plug wires and plugs would help out a good bit. If so where should I get them?  

The best Sparkplugs money can buy for a 1.8T are called Iridium Sparks Plugs, you can buy them at a Auto zone or Advance AP, there are pricey  but beleive me you feel the difference of power, and better gas milleage too. In wires , you mean the coilpacks? there's an updated version HO coils sell by ECS tuning. there are not bad if you mods are Mild, there resist heat better than stocks. If any more help let me know.
