tranny grinds goin in to reverse, any help ,only has 45,000 help!!!!!

my 2004 golf has 45000 miles on it ,all highway,i drive 2 hours perday ,when i go to put the car in reverse ,5 speed,it grinds and kinda hops into gear, i dont understand why it does this, if i put it in 3 and then rev it wont grind, its very weird took it to vw and they said they couldnt find any faults,but it does it every time i wanna put it in rev,my freind has a older jetta and it does the same thing , is this common,can it be fixed ,i need this fixed ,please help me 2004 golf 2.0 five speed

motor mount or shift linkage mabey.., or its just being a normal vw with its minor flaws Oh yea, make sure your tranny fluid is topped off and/or changed you know. number one cause of transmission failure is heat. good luck!

Do you have the Linkage System? Cause if you do then it might be those links, cause mine did the same thing.

maybe the clutch or the rev gear is not going in fully, so its, kinda touching, but it skips, like maybe the linkage is to lose for rev.
