can u bypass a np-80 purge valve ??? golf 2.0

I took my 04 golf 2.0 to 2 other dealers , and they all said the same thing ,np80 purge valve is making the loud clicking,tappin noise, they will not bypass it ,"they said its a liability on there end if they do",is there any why to bypass that anoying fu**king thing without the check engine light or any other problmes happning ???,thanks alot

That n 80 valve purges your fuel vapors into your engine to burn. It's all part of your evap system. If you take that out, you def. will get a check engine light on. Why don't you wrap it in some sort of foam or noise deading material if you don't like the noise. Insulate the plastic tube that goes from the n80 to your charcoal canister in the rear.

Hi,
Don't bypass it. The noise is normal it means the purge (N80) valve is working, it maybe old or dry therefore it makes that noise. To eliminate the noise try to spray some WD40 into it. This should lubricate the valve and get rid of the noise.
