This is weird - locked car with remote. Tried to unlock car and nothing happened except lights flashed. Rear doors DID NOT LOCK - only front doors locked. Able to open front drivers door with key. Went thru owners manual and did what it said reference setting remote - noting works. Also - CAN NOT unlock front doors from INSIDE car - when pull handles - they will not open when locked (little dangerous)When I lock the doors with the remote - I can hear the clicks - when push unlock buttom - hear nothing - but lights do flash twice. HELP!!!

Sounds like there may be an issue with the body control computer. That's too weird to be an issue with the lock solenoids themselves, and why both at once? In my experience, owner's manuals have proven to be useless tree-killers. Even the worst repair manual at your discount auto parts store is more valuable as most of them include some sort of basic wiring schematics and test procedures you can perform yourself. I'd invest in one, and if your BMW is like my VW, the Robert Bentley manual is the way to go. Good luck!
