I want to to put porshe brakes on all fours of my 02 jetta 18t. the 911 is rear engine, the cayman is mid engine. I dont want to get boxster brakes. Will the different brake force distribution on the porshe brakes hurt me?

So are you wanting to transplant a complete braking system from a Porsche to a Jetta, including the proportioning valve? If so, there is where you will likely have issues. I know of several VWs that have brakes from a 993 on them, the only transplanting was calipers & pads. Maybe a new or modified caliper bracket, but that's no big deal. The key to a brake transplant is the increased surface area.
Another consideration is, how big are your wheels? If your wheels aren't big enough to accommodate what will likely be a larger rotor and longer caliper body, then this is out of the question until you get larger wheels.

I have 18 in. wheels. Can you explain what the proportioning valve is? Is that what controls how much brake force is applied to each wheel, and if so then I would use the one on my car right? I want the porsche brakes for the performance I know ill get with the bigger rotors and calipers. What is the caliper bracket though?
