SERIOUS PROBLEMS with Wolfsburg

So I purchased a new Wolfsburg ed. Jetta back in September of '08... In October, I had to have the entire transmission replaced. My wife was driving down the road, then, all of a sudden it was like the car was in neutral, and would not go into gear. When we finally got the car back from service, two weeks later, we began hearing a loud "spraying" sound coming from the engine when we pressed the accelerator. It sounded as if the turbo was no longer engaging, and all of the air that was supposed to be blowing through the turbo was now just blowing... We took it back to the dealership. They basically said "no problem it's just a hose that came off." So they "repaired" this problem and gave the car back to us. Well, ever since this happened, the engine has not sounded nor performed the same. Now, when you crank the engine, it sounds sort of like a diesel, and the car no longer has the sound, nor the feel, of a turbo-charged engine. In other words, you can not hear or feel that "spooling up" and burst of power that you would normally associate with a turbo. Also, the car sounds/performs nothing like it did when it was new (and I remind you, it only has about 6000 miles on it at this time). So, I wish that were all that was wrong with it, but on Thursday morning, my wife and I were on the way to the gym. I drove the Jetta, she drove our Camry. When I was driving, I began noticing a "thumping" sound, that increased speed, as I pushed the accelerator. I told my wife something was wrong with it (AGAIN) and I wanted her to hear it. When she drove it back to the house, she said it got worse and louder as she drove. She called the dealership and they said they would see the car the next day (Friday). She went ahead and drove it to work, and said she was scared to drive home, because it just kept getting worse. On the way home, with my two kids in the car, she said it literally felt like the entire engine fell out the bottom of the car. A neighbor of mine happened to see her on the side of the road, and he happens to be a mechanic himself. He said he checked it, and the driveshaft was not linking with the transmission when the car was in gear (or something, I'm not very mechanically inclined). So, we were stranded on the side of the road waiting for a tow truck (AGAIN). The service dept calls us the next morning and tells us it is the CV joint. We haven't heard back from them since. My neighbor says, no way it was just the CV joint, because the driveshaft was not linking. I sent a complaint to VW. Someone called me back Monday, and seemed very helpful. He said he would have a regional rep call me Wednesday (yesterday). That person never called. I am pissed off, I'm frustrated, I feel like I'm being lied to, and I don't know what to do. It sucks that this car has given me so many problems. We were so excited about purchasing it. We thought we were getting a great car at a great value. Now we feel like, we don't have anything but a lemon. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!
