im looking into buying a GTI very soon and was wondering what the specs were for a 2004 Golf GTI, one that ive found and am lookin into buying is listed as "2004 VW Golf GTI 2.0" but when i try to google that to look for its specs, all i come up with is for a 1.8L not a 2.0 the back of the car has a Golf badge on the left and a GTI badge on the right..if that helps/matters even though you can buy your own and put them on..
help me out thanks in advance

Renji, if I'm not mistaken, all GTIs that year came with a 1.8L Turbo. The later model GTIs came with a 2.0L.
If you can, you really need to get the VIN for that car and go to cars.com like the previous poster suggested. Chances are, that car is for sale by either a guy who has no clue and thought 2.0L sounded better than 1.8L, or an unscrupulous dealer who does know the difference an hopes the buyer won't do any research.
Good luck in your quest!
