help me out people i am new to the vw world and need some help. i just got a 96 jetta trek its got the 2.0 in it i want to add proformance and would like to know the best parts in the rite order thanks for the help

Start with the easy stuff -- cold air intake, cat-back exhaust and a performance tune-up. Follow that with retuning the computer. When you are serious about making power, upgrade injectors, a turbo/supercharger kit, retune the computer. Once you start getting above 200-225 hp, you really should consider upgrading the suspension with a good "cup kit" and going with larger brakes.
You'll find that the parts ain't cheap, but the end result (at least to me so far) will be worth it! Good luck!
