Ok, I am about to buy my second jetta (97' jetta gt) and this time I'm considering making a few modifications to it and would like the input of some more experienced people. Currently I'm considering putting in; a cold air intake, new camshaft (270 degree?), brakes, lowering springs, lights, engine housing, intake manifold, tuning valves and valve springs. My plan was to just tune the car itself and make it comfortable to drive and have it run at its best, I'm not looking to race anyone or put on obnoxious wings and body kits to draw attention. So I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to what specific brand or model parts I should look for when making these modifications or any ones to avoid.

thanks
