Hi guys!
I just want to say hello and complement this web site.
Best tuning site I came across so far.

For now I just have one question, I'm about to get new wheels for my Golf mk4, 1.9 TDI, 2001. Question is; is 18" too big for mk4? I see lot of people have them, even 19", but will I need to do any modifications to fit 18" so that they don't touch the body? Will I be able to drive a full car with 18" ?

This is my only car, so I will occasionally drive it full, and our roads in Serbia are horrible, that's why I'm not sure which size to go for.

Help from people that have 18" would be much appreciated!
Thank You

18" should be fine -- just make sure the backspacing is correct (35-40mm) so you don't rub the frame!

Golf 4's can fit up to 19" wheels like on Project Silverstone. 18" is factory on some Golf 4s including the 20th Anniversary GTI, R32 and Jetta GLI.

I got black 18" momo Corse rims on my VW.  So you should be fine.  What do they look like?

They are on! Full car, 5 of us... and no problems, with standard springs... for now.

This is what they look like, when fitted.
