High mileage 2002 jetta VR6 MOD?

Hey I'm pretty new to using a forum, I am currently 17. I have a 2002 Jetta VR6 with about 140,000 miles not alot of care was given to it. I am very interested in installing a c2 chip and and c2 turbo with a 3 inch cat. but can the engine handle it or should it be rebuilt first?

Actually all I want to know is if the engine can handle being turbocharged with high mileage
