Corona, Ca…advanced FLOW engineering (aFe), an industry leader in performance intakes, filters, manifolds and exhaust systems is pleased to announce the release of their Stage 2 air intake system with for the 2007-10 BMW M3 with V8-4.0L part numbers 50-11662-C (Clear Coat Anodized), 50-11662-CV (Clear Coat Value Pack), 50-11662-B (Black Anodized) and 55-11662-BV (Black Anodized Value Pack).

This system is a true race-inspired intake and uses a fully fabricated 6061 aluminum housing and cover which houses a huge 6” performance air filter. This system also includes performance engineered rotomolded plastic tubes to maximize air velocity and improve horsepower, torque, and throttle response.  As an added value aFe has thrown in a Pro Dry S filter, which utilizes 2-layers of progressive synthetic media that requires no recharging oils for maximum convenience.  Value pack applications come with Dynamic Air Scoops to help drive increased air to the intake. All aFe intakes come with all components and hardware for an easy and complete installation

In recent testing, part number 50-11662CV reduced 15hp and 13lbs. x ft. of torque and 85% more air flow than the factory intake as well as improved MPG. During heat testing, the aFe Stage 2 intake had a lower intake air temperature than the stock intake helping to produce these huge performance gains.

Part Number 50-11662-C has an MSRP of $1,243.75 and is available in stores now.
Part Number 50-11662-CV has an MSRP of $1,368.75 and is available in stores now.
