2003 jetta 1.8t...Where to start???

alright so i got this 03 1.8t and i love her. but now im startin to get my money back up and everything so im gonna start doin some work soon..but what i wanna kno is where is a good place online to get *** from...but fairly cheap. i kno of e bay but ur always just searching through *** and they only have but a limited selection, unless im not doing something right. i want something that is all laid out and everything..preferably specializing in vw or german cars but remember im tryin not to spend crazy here... open for ideas

What model car do you have and what look are you going for?  

2003 jetta gls 1.8t... its got the factory spoiler n what not.. its all stock right now.. im def tryin to get like the real sleek euro look ya kno? its silver and i want to leave it that silver, maybe some silver flake in the paint.. im undecided on full body kit, or front lip.. im thinking kit tho and i was looking at the rs4 body kit. the front just isnt exactly to my liking on that. as far as rims. i want spokes definantly. i really want bbs but they r so *** expensive. i dnt wanna spend like 2 monthssalary. im still unsure about my wing as well. i wanna go with something bigger but potentially the same style and i want a roof spoiler too.

I have a 1.8t jetta gls myself and I'm tellin you first thing u want to get is suspension.  get a cup kit, they're like coilovers but not adjustable, so lots cheaper, and then a rear swaybar.  The car will feel like its worth a million more-trust me.  Suspension= looks+performance =great 1st upgrade.  Or get your car chipped by apr.  they might have a price, but you can never go wrong with them.  Thats what I started with, and now I'm pullin a garrett 3076 setup and 400+whp is UH MAZ ZING, buts lots of benjamins haha.  Just don't be a german ricer, god they're embarassing  

Oh the cup kit n a rear sway would run you around 1000-if you got high mileage get the suspension refresh kit from mjm autohaus as well, and an apr chip 5 or 600.  

Def go with a cup kit! i have an 03 gli vr6 the suspension drop was more then enough for an aggresive stance but totally changed the ride and handling. it also allows you to not fear every pothole and speed bump out there.After that the skies the limit, cold air, chip exhaust for the basics.But just enjoy what you are doing and ask for help, everyone out here is more than happy to help with questions.
